Oneness Movement is a Reggae & Dancehall Soundsystem from Essen (NRW), Germany

History


Oneness Movement was founded in the beginning of 2004 in Essen (NRW/Germany). The Soundsystem consists of three Members:

Tom(Selekta & Deejay), Patrick(Selekta), Makom(Deejay)

All of them are friends till their early childhood. And with the age of 13 their interests in Reggae Music seemed to grow bigger & bigger until they finally decided, with the age of 18, to rise up Reggae Music in their hometown by playing several dances. Oneness Movement is juggling all kind of styles, from Roots to Dancehall, Lovers Rock and Soca. And till the year 2006 they even had their own Party in the Star Club Mülheim which took place once a month. Unfortunately the Star Club had to be closed at the end of 2006. In 2007 Oneness played with PowPow, Sentinel, One Love Hi Powa, Herb-A-Lize, Soundquake & Assassin !!!
